Richard Mayer’s Eleventh Principle

Narration can play a role in learning experiences; but, is there a difference between using a robotic or computerized voice versus human voice talent? This week we will look at Richard Mayer’s 11th multimedia instructional design principle, the Voice Principle. This principle states that: “People learn better when the narration in multimedia lessons is spoken in a friendly human voice rather than a machine voice.”
