About Jack

Jack grew up in China and went to New Zealand to pursue a career in genetics research in New Zealand. Being a people person, he realized that a life in the lab was not for him so he went on to teach science and started a Chinese language program at a semi-rural New Zealand high school. Seeing first-hand how traditional teaching methods were limited in engaging today’s learners, Jack developed a keen interest in EdTech and ultimately came to UCLA Anderson School of Management to start his own company Lost Abroad gamifying education.
